Jesus was God speaking through the flesh. Using him as an example equals accepting divine interference which is precisely the crutch that Nietschze wanted humanity to leave behind. From what I understand about Buddha he was accepting the human duality rather than trying to transcend it. It has little to do with the übermensch. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The world is completely indifferent to what happens to the human race. I don't see any sign that we evolve or have the capacity to and I don't understand how you guys are so willing to throw away centuries of human history. There are obvious patterns right under our nose littered with elite/plebian examples and every single one of them has collapsed. How are you so confident people will ever be able to triumph over the same flawed pattern-based reasoning that gave us consciousness in the first place? We are biologically hardwired to live between pain and boredom, constantly striving. I don't mean to be the edgy nihilist but it's still a major, unsolved problem and the only plausible evolution I can see is technological transcendence which can't be what Nietschze originally meant.
