I hate writing dialogue because every time I read it, I imagine the characters speaking in some retarded 13 years old kid's voice or some annoying smartass.

Also, how do I become better at writing dialogue, and only dialogue? I feel that my prose is decent but my lord, the dialogue is HORRENDOUS!
At least I feel that it's terrible because I know I could probably do better.
