Being /fit/ doesn't make you happy, but it's a way to improve your self-esteem/self-image and that can lead to happiness. If you lift 2/3/4/5 but hide in your room for 12 hours every day or have a degrading office job, lifting won't solve those problems.

It's a long-standing fact that getting /fit/ won't make you more attractive to women but you will get flooded by dudes who ask about your routine/your 1rm/how they could lift twice that in high school, etc.
