I swear, if I have to read another "joke" about LLPSI or the bald man...

Everytime I read something (book and files in games) I always get stuck reading the same chunk of information, especially if it is important or dramatic enough, over and over again like I'm in disbelief of what I'm reading. This makes reading anything take to long which annoying, anyone else has this problem?

I have friends and I sometimes go to parties with them, I do enjoy it because I think my reptilian brain needs it and would make me feel bad if I didn’t feed it with real-life social interactions.
But in the end I much prefer the time spent here talking to people like you guys, I wish I had friends like like you IRL… or maybe I don’t.

When I read pre-Enlightenment philosophy I always assume that the text has deeper meanings than initially derived, so I make sure to pay close attention even to the smallest details and not skim over anything.
When I read post-Enlightenment stuff I always assume the text is more turgid and convoluted than it had to be, and make sure to not take it too seriously or read too much into it.
