Events are crap as usual. PVP is completely destroyed. Economy is fucked up, everythings expensive as hell and god tier items cost 50 mill. Scammers everywhere. Etc etc Some ncie new outfits though

Yeah, that's true, but still, you will need a lot of AP to master all the skills we're going to get in G17, as if we didn't have enough new ones with G16.

So unless you're total level 2000 and have AP saved, it's pretty challenging for newcomers.

Luckily, a pretty large portion of /jp/ holds to it. The odd one is fine, there is plenty of context in games for the occasional non-obnoxious reference. Beyond that, there's a fine line between an obnoxious person and a boring person.

I'm playing WoW Vanilla on a private server. Used to hate it and Blizz but it's actually not so bad. Never got to have the difficult Vanilla experience so I'm doing it with a few randoms. If you guys wanna play it's only a 5gb torrent. There's no pay to win or donations or anything, totally free. Super easy to set up.

Due to my crippling aspergers most everyone on my server hates me.

I had to quit. Its a shame too, I was extremely powerful, one of the strongest on the server. Nobody wanted to do anything, as there was nothing to actually do.

We'd just sit around in town in social cliques, none of which I was involved in due to everybody having a deep dislike of me.

I like Mabi's weird stuff. Even with a wiki, there's tons of stuff you don't think about any more. I can only imagine knocking apples off trees, getting items for giving NPCs and birds food, tossing around paper airplanes, and getting secret quests to play as spiders and shit blows people's minds.

Kinda. You keep all your ability points, skill ranks, items and titles when you rebirth, though, so you don't really lose anything but the stats you'd have gotten from levelling, which you can get back fairly quickly depending on what level you were when you rebirthed. You also gain stats differently depending on what age you are when you level up.

Basically rebirthing lets you reset yourself to level 1 in order to get more AP from levelling up, and/or to level up at a certain age to get the most of x stat.

Does anybody have such a big problem naming their characters? I have such bad altitis because I keep eventually hating the names of my characters which flat out destroys any motivation I had for playing them. Every time I have to come up with a new name I have to do extensive research and soul searching and the name has to be absolutely perfect. After a while I still end up hating the name and quit playing.

You get EXP for everything, from item crafting to burning up items in campfires. You can get AP from just aging and never playing except for rebirthing. If you chose merchant destiny, then you get EXP from just gathering things. There going to update to G17 on the 24th so you can choose a new destiny then. or whatever the new system is called.

No there's not. The item load times were removed. (previously skills were supposed to take a second or 2 to prepare) Everything should load and be used instantly like in every casual MMO, instead of old skill based Mabi.

I tried playing WoT and it feels more undynamic driving a slow tank unlike a plane. Unfortunately, I dislike how WoWP has aim markers where enemies appear on your screen from 2km out, which makes fights boring, so i'm downloading WT once my download cap allows for it.

WT at least has in-cockpit views and realism mode.

Since my account was hacked and deleted I lost all of my level 70 characters and items on DFO.

Then I made a new account back when Male Mage came out. Named him VonHugendong. Got him to level 50 in two days, waited for Awakening, awakened, then made a Priest named RiverSanzu (or SanzuRivers, can't remember). I never got him past level 10 cause I was still upset over all of my characters being deleted. All of my hard work, /jp/. All of it.

I might play again if people ask me to.

I know what you mean about slow driving. I prefer driving quick US tank destroyers. But at the same time, I also enjoy the relatively slower pace of tank battles. I like planning ahead, maneuvering, countering, flanking, stalking. These things don't happen too fast that I feel like a micro-managing RTS player.

Also, now that they've added physics and suspension sound effect, the vehicles in the game -feel- so much better. It's not like some object traveling across a sheet of paper anymore. Now the vehicle interacts with every bit of the environment and you hear that suspension working.

Instinctive Reaction is an enemy ability that makes them always hit you with a normal attack if you try to use smash on them (normal attack will win out over a smash)

I can't imagine how frustrating that can be if the enemy won't attack you and is just sitting there ready to be hit hard. Must be nice for training windmill on zombies though

Okay, let's see. The game is intense. It has a lot of action. Plays like a classic arcade game...

Economy is easy to learn, I guess. You can buy and trade NX Avatars without spending any NX, literally meaning you can play the game without having to pay a cent to be super strong.

...Ignore the fact that the game is made by Nexon and you're golden.

DFO is far from an actual social game like mabinogi which /jp/ unironically loves for some reason. I play it because I love beamups. Huge guilds are pretty pointless in DFO because it's not like you'll ever need a whole guild (or more than 2-3 people) to do anything other than level the guild up. You also would never need an irc, voip or anything to communicate for playing.

This is untrue as getting training EXP seems to give you that much actual EXP points too.

Bard is a fighting class though. There's no reason you need to level from playing instruments. Especially since you can already spam training it by starting and stopping playing songs or playing 0 length music.

That is not at all what I meant. I meant that they are to go into battle. Whether this means providing support for others or whatever, they level up through combat.

On the other hand, things like tailoring and weaving and other item crafting should give you exp and allow you to level up just by doing them since they have 0 battle capability.

Yeah you can write music and play it and send out buffs, but I don't think you should be able to level just doing that, though maybe there should be music related quests/quest scrolls.
