I like the original characters with 100% original sprites (Except the H-Characters) so I collect them and I hate recolors of other characters.

My favorite characters are Kung Fu Girl and Ryuko (In the OP).

I find it strange that japan makes most of the original charters even though the community doesn't seem big.

MUGEN would be cool if character creators would reach an agree to make their characters "the same way". I mean, there's a lot of ultra-cheap characters or shitty characters that are hard to kill for whatever reason, or they just... suck. Most of the times the AI is broken, either making it very easy, or extremely hard to beat, and the difficulty setting won't affect it in most of the cases.

Also, most of the websites are down for whatever reason.

True. Also controls are inconsistent. Beating the arcade modes is impossible with most of the characters, but at least in my version of mugen, it's possible to customize the order in which characters appear, so I made it so, that at least the first matches should be against low tiers and then get gradually harder.

You can control the characters that appear and their order in arcade and team mode, but not in survival mode. And that's a big problem. You can avoid fighting insta-kill characters like chuck norris, idol hisui, etc, in arcade mode. But you will eventually "fight" them in survival mode.
