You know what the sad part about Flanfly is? It is VERY easy to ban the thing from being posted:

1. Make it impossible to post Flanfly from 01:59 - 02:01. Even though he'll still post Flanfly, his morale will be crushed and eventually move on to something else.

2. Ban the image itself or make the image autosage when posting a new thread. Yes, BOTH of these are possible. I've seen it on /b/ used to counter pony threads. There are literally THOUSANDS of pony images on this list already, which is why you always see them come up with new ones.

3. Oh, I don't know, DELETE the threads the second they pop up?

So many ways to stop Flanfly. There really is no reason for Flanfly to still be going other than the janitor likes it.
