I just worked on it a little. Trying to learn how to art, I've been drawing from pictures of real people. Shit is more difficult than I want it to be.

Apparently I need to start drawing skeletons, and that will help me improve. God damn it, skeletons seem like they'd have fifteen million fucking lines, and that's not counting the muscles I'd have to draw on top of them once I have the skeletons themselves down. Fucking hell.

I need to work up to getting passable art, though. I'm not aiming to be any kind of great artist, and I've apparently gotten good enough that my art isn't outright painful to look at, but I need to be able to make stuff that's at least vaguely pleasing to the eye. The project won't be complete without it.

Anyone else actually addicted to self improvement?

It feels damn good, especially when the progress is measurable and material.

For the last few months or so, I've gone full autist with my kanji study and I've gone from a 200-300 to being done with all 2.2k jouyou within half a year. I've already signed up for JLPT N1 this December.
