Hi /jp/, yesterday I read Vintage, by 薬味さらい
It's probably because of my really poor japanese skill, but there something that I didn't understand
Why did Remilia ask Sakuya to have her leg cut?
I imagine the all eating stuff is just a facade...
Ok, usually I don't really give a shit about doujinshi, but this time it was frustrating

Also Touhou doujinshi general?

Is there an English translated version? I'd gladly discuss it if I can read it.

I don't think so, but it's probably being translated, there's a thread in voile.gensokyo

I read it too. Supposedly it was so Remilia could make a wine out of her blood, but in the end I think the real reason was just so Remilia could have something to remember Sakuya once she dies. That's the feeling I got from the fact Meiling used some magic to conserve the leg and the fact Sakuya mentioned numerous times she is a Human that will only live once. Isn't there also a flashback to the time Remilia and Sakuya beat Mokou and she says exactly this?

My japanese is very far from perfect too.

Thanks a lot for the answer, I also thought about it, but it seemed a bit strange that Remilia could have really asked for something so important...
I suppose, the autor really wanted to exaggerate, too much in my opinion

I think Alice touches that subject, first on her talk with Remilia and then with Sakuya. My moonrune abilities are not on the level of properly understanding their exchanges, though.

Alice is probably used to show what a normal person could have thought about that situation
It doesn't seem so strange that Sukuya agree to the request, but it's really untealistic that Meiling and Patchouli agreed also (not talking about Remilia)
