EOSD is only really hard for Lunatic Players. For Normal players, it's easier than PCB and IN.

Seriously, things don't really get HARD until Sakuya, where's PCB the Prismrivers will rape you, and IN has either Marisa or Reimu, both of which are VERY hard.

I think of it more as a puzzle that you put together than as a maze with a start and an end.
