I saw this on TV a few days ago and thought it seemed similar.

I would be interested to see. Someone should contact them.

Looking for an email link now.

Are you sure it's not just a reference to that song in the commercial. Alot of touhou arranges do that. Some dude even talked about the normal song, but who knows.

It's like that one Magnum Opus song that's clearly a Children of Bodom of song.

the group that made the song in the commercial is listed in the comments, im looking around to see when they were actually established, and more importantly when that song was made incase plagiarism has happened

Update, the eariliest i can find an actual mention of their forming date is 2009 which is when their myspace was made and that song doesnt seem to be anywhere else apart from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLqPFQEHMoQ&feature=plcp

which was uploaded late 2011

>/jp/ internet detectives.

The youtube states it's a repost. So who knows when the original went up.

either way, judging by their myspace they were formed sometime around 2008-2009, and theres no mention of the song outside the last year or so.

i just wanna know the story behind it, is their plagiarism going on? which group is the one doing it? do they even care enough to sue for things like that and >>9677481 ?

I can't find shit on the song before January 2011...

Is 2dubaii or whatever even a big record label name or anything worth fussing over? One could presume that since their song is being used in a commercial they are somewhat known, right? Again, internet detectives right?

And no as far as I know no action was taken with the other case.

Either way it would be hilarious to me to see Alstroemeria do something about it.

Maybe it really originated from an older song and both songs are homages to that.

id find it hilarious to see something happen too, which is why im hoping >>9677466 found an email link.

Maybe someone who is fluent in moon can post the 2 links and a short message on Alstroemerias facebook page or something

They stole ZUN's music. Someone should steal theirs.

Because ZUN makes "original" music? Did he invent shmups too?

>> No.9677614

To be honest though, sampling has been around for ages. I mean, look at Yoko Kanno and The Seatbelt's Mushroom Hunting which is basically just a remix of DJ Food's Let the Good Shine, which sampled Ella Jenkins' voice tracks in her This is Rhythm album. That's just one example though.

2DUBAII makes song.
Alstroemeria sample it.
boohoo use it for their advert.

Same root, but not plagiarism.

Reminds me of when I heard a dance remix of In the Hall of the Mountain King and my friend complained that it was a rip-off of "the Alton Towers theme".

mainly due to the dates avaliable, im thinking 2DUBAII were the ones sampling it

>> No.9677785

it is a sort of standard set of sounds used by many house/electronic songs.
When I was talking a listen to every single sample in VEH2,
I noticed the same sample was used in the song "Lovelight".
It's no wonder that someone else other than Alstroemeria uses the sample.

I recall an anon said Masayoshi has presets on his synthesizer, and everytime he makes music, he just pushes a button

I thought that anon was joking, cant believe he was (somewhat) right.

>> No.9677871

>>9677800
yeah, it's true.

http://m.theinterviews.jp/masayoshiminoshima/38646

In response to the question; "Most of the pieces for the album "Lovelight" are sample-based. Is there any reason for this?"
Masayoshi himself answered "it's simply easy for me!"

How unfortunate that making music has come to doing whatever is easiest and not taking the time to actually learn how music is made and how it works.
