Hello /jp/. I am an editor and Touhou doujin collector, and I am looking for someone interested in doing sort of a joint project with me. I have dozens of books in my collection, some still not yet scanned, and I upload them not just to share with the community, but also in hopes to get at least some of them translated. That being said, I'd like to ask if anyone who has sufficient translating skills would like to help me translate them for me to be able to edit them in. And yes, quite a few of them are already up on Magic Voile under the name of "Manick". There are also other books as well besides my own that I'd also like to be able to get translated and edited.

If you'd like to know exactly some of what you'd be translating, it will be mostly Okuu centric and some Chireiden, so if you really like them, that's probably a good plus for motivation. Yes, some of it will be R18, but pretty much all of it will be consensual/hetero and pretty vanilla. If you'd like to see an example of my work, I did the editing for "[I'm]Melting" way back with UMAD's group when they still were active, whom I've also commissioned many other books with in the past.

I'll just be keeping this bumped occasionally for a little bit with what I've uploaded so far.

Not that I'd be of much help, though. I'm still learning my kanji and my grammar is close to non-existant. I can make some sense of mosto of what I read but probably get lots of stuff wrong, which would end up in giving you extra work in proof-reading. Have a bump, though.

Although I somewhat doubt it, if you are actually genuinely interested, you should know that I'm not going to force anyone to translate something they don't want to translate, especially R18 stuff. And only about a forth of them are anyway, which is hardly 'most'.

Unfortunately, the one anon that offered his help was unable to continue assisting me with editing, but I am grateful for him showing interest regardless. I didn't mention it in the OP, but it would actually be nice to have someone help with the editing if anyone is interested. The translations are coming along at a much faster pace than I am able to edit them in, which is wonderful, but unexpected. If you're looking for an editor, I'd be happy to help. I'm trying to improve my Japanese so that I can translate some basic stuff. but I'm a fairly good hand at photoshop and I don't have much of a life.

I'm not really sure I want to devote the time to maintaining and updating it constantly though. All I'm really keeping this thread alive for at this point is to hopefully attract a new translator, but if I still can't find one after a few more days I'll probably just let it die. Without a translator there's not much point in me continuing this effort.
