Disappointing. Although I heard it can be interesting at high level, it's a very slow and stiff game and not really fun to play at all at low level. It absolutely pales in comparison to games like Melty Blood and Eternal Fighter Zero.

It can, and it's actually not all too bad at mid-level either. In short, as soon as your game progresses beyond >>9552596 it's actually lots of fun.
At which case I too be honest wouldn't call it incomparable to Melty Blood and Eternal Fighter Zero.

The game really was horrible at first though, if it were not for the developers having released gameplay patches each given month ever since release, the game would have had no hope. But the game is actually fairly solid at an up to date version if you just know the basics of how to play it.
