Too western, and too open for me, anon-san. I have Skyrim and Morrowwind but just can't get the urge to play them (only 5 hrs clocked in each). I like the ability to explore, but it doesn't feel like it matters when I do. Most games don't have that exploration feel.

In an MMO (crappy games usually), I feel I can achieve something which matters--that is, maybe...the feeling of exploring a breathing living world inhabited by other players? The feeling of not being in this reality is nice.

I wish the cost of living was not so high in America, where I live.

Playing LoL, a little tired of having my ass kicked

It's true, your exploration doesn't really change anything. Have you tried maybe doing some quests?

Are you fags just going to waste your entire lives on video games? How about coming with me to the gym?

Are you jocks just going to waste your entire lives on workout regimens? How about coming with me to another world?

My roomate and his friends are high, drunk, a loud.
I'm too tired to deal with them.

Doing relatively well, gunna shower soon then waste more time doing nothing of importance.

Please don't be so mean. It's not as if he's playing bad games like Halo, WoW, or some such...

>>9459239
I have. I just have low attention span to games that don't really hold it at first. I've played it because my friend plays a lot of Western Games, and I just haven't clocked more than 6ish hours...I know the voice acting and such is good, and the world, but it feels like a medival simulator rather than a game. There's not much challenge. I like that I feel more free but it doesn't feel like there's a purpose.

The Skinner Box Rat Race MMO's that aren't TOTAL SHIT provide is more eventful and purposeful it seems.

How about playing Reccetear, or search for classes your local community college offers? The medical field is what I recommend to jpsies in America.

It's a stable field, where you can just focus on doing a simple task--if done well people won't bother you much. You have to deal with people, but the money you make will help you buy whatever you really like and you can eat well.

It's almost 7am. It's time to go to sleep.

As for there not being a purpose in, say, the Elder Scrolls, you gotta make your own purpose. I find if I don't create a back story and personality for my character, I feel like I'm wasting my time. Just wandering and doing quests isn't very fulfilling, but if you really get into it and role-play, it's a lot more engaging.

Thank you for standing up for me!

Are you playing on PC? You could try installing mods to make things more difficult.

Personally, I like the lore, that's what keeps me playing.

It may also be worth mentioning that an Elder Scrolls MMO is coming out sometime next year. Perhaps you might like that.

That means I'd have to buy or pirate Reccetear and I'm too broke and lazy to do either.

While I have a general distaste for socializing, I can put on a facade and see it through for the most part. My main issue is actually somehow landing a job; I absolutely despise the interview process because I never know how to answer questions. I'm stupid and don't even know what I like.

Also I'm scared because I've already dropped out of college once and brought a whole mess of debt to my folks. Hell the only reason I'd want a job is just to take that off of them.

Just went to In n Out.

Now I'm going to continue playing Sister Scheme 2
