- How do you have to block F-Earth (Hime?) bloody 236 moves? I got hit so often when I just hold back and even sometimes when I was holding downback. Probably the netplay eating my input but the gameplay was quite good overall so this leaves me wondering.
- Is there a way to press buttons to "reduce damage" mashing without doing an airtech? This brings me into trouble more often than it is useful for me. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong.

Oh, I just tried some stuff in training - it's really a low block for the 236 moves.
And the latter only seems to matter for invalid combos as far as I can tell for myself.

Well, you just have to block them. Nothing special there, seems input lag if you having trouble with that.
Basic difference in mb from other fightings is that you should stay in air a lot. Almost all air moves are good versus ground, and antiair is basically bad.
With reduce you just have to time keypresses, but again air-tech is rarely punishable, ground-tech on the other hand is very risky.

Oh, and also, don't do 421 moves in every blockstring, it's meant to be only a variation. You can use 5A/2A (whiff) to reset your blockstrings (then dash or IAD) or play around with 5[C] 5[B] to punish jumps / frame trap. Also, 2[C] has a lot of frame advantage.

I did work a bit on the counterhits in training but I am too surprised by them myself to cash them in or fuck it up somehow by being to far away or using the wrong moves. Oh well.
