The meter resets at the start of every episode but there's a separate ratings that are stored and accumulated at the end of every episode. Depending on where you're loading the game that would explain the meter reset. Hope that helps.

I get the same "SoundBase Initialisation error" every time I try to run the game. Anyone find a fix?

There's a bug with the sound settings. Everytime the config.dat file is created (basically the first time you quit the game), all the values are set to maximum.
As an example :
- I set music to 90, SFX and voice to 50, since the music volume is kind of low compared to the other two. I play for a bit then close the game.
- When I relaunch it all the sounds are very loud, even if the settings screen says otherwise. I can't hear the music anymore since it gets covered by the other noises. And even when I try to change the settings, it doesn't do anything anymore.
- However, if I delete the config.dat file, then the sound settings do work again.

It's a minor annoyance, but I might as well report it. Does that bug happen because I'm in japanese locale (W7, 32 bits) ? I can't change it now since I'm waiting for an upload to finish, but I'll try in English locale later.

Also, is there any way to change the subtitles font ? It's not "bad" per se, but it could be better.
