Every quest is one of two or three different types, you even get two quests from different NPCs to kill the same mob sometimes, it might even be the same amount. The combat is great, but that starts to not be enough when all the game really has going for it is the combat and the graphics. Later on, certain monsters will randomly be really strong in comparison to other monsters of the same level (and I'm not talking about BAMs, Tera's equivalent of elite mobs). Also, my server seems to be really underpopulated, I never see anyone use Area chat other than to spam LFG, despite there being a LFG channel and a group finder for instances.

I found Lucent Heart had a pretty good community about a year ago. It was mainly full of weaboos but they spoke with decent grammar and actually knew shit about the game. I could be anywhere on the map and hold a conversation with a stranger at the town square which was pretty cool.

I'm not who you asked but I'll answer this question anyways.

So far I've enjoyed the game a lot. The combat is a refreshing and the lore is pretty cool. The quests are generally the generic "kill monsters" stuff but that's about in every MMO. However you generally don't have to do all of them and can mainly focus on the Storyline quests. BAMs are really fun to fight and I enjoy attempting soloing one when I first encounter it. Currently there is not much in the way for endgame right now. I haven't even tried Nexus because people have been reporting a lot of lag doing that and my computer doesn't even meet the minimum requirements for the game.

So far I've had a lot of fun playing but without much endgame I'll get bored in the near future if they don't add more content. I recommend it.

I was playing Tera for a while, but the lack of an end game made me stop mid leveling. Leveling my warrior was fun though, I might keep going until I max out and then stop playing it again. I wish an MMO would come out that actually had a fucking end game, there are all these WoW clones that don't have an end game when even WoW at release had two raids at launch.

The closest thing to an MMO I'm playing is M&B Napoleonic Wars. And I only play for 30 minutes at a time because I hate starting the game, dying immediately, and having to wait for a team to win in order to play again.

I just watched a couple of GW2 beta gameplays and it looks just cheesy and boring and crappy as hell. There wasn't a single moment where I felt like the game looked fun. It plays EXACTLY like wow. Quest system was overhyped as well. There's no way anybody would fail a quest and they all felt so impactless. Not to mention it's exactly the same as every other MMO quest. Go here kill this fetch that, and you WILL succeed or someone else will succeed for you anyway.

Same old shit. New races, new classes, ``better'' graphics (not at all). I am very done with mmos. None ever live up to the hype. It's all just the same old "tried tested true" WoW formula for minimum expense and maximum profit. The only thing they do differently is remove the healer tank dps triumvirate and they laud it as an EPIKK INNOVATIVE REVOLUTION but it's just underwhelming gay boring shit that's been done in many games already. Just like how TERA is an ``truACTION combat'' yet fails in every other department and the action combat is shitty anyway with several other games having done action combat far better.

I bet the one and ONLY retort to this post is "lmao nerd you just watched u didnt play lol is SOOOO DIFF WHEN YOU ACTUAL PLAY" and to that I say ``fuck off''. They've stepped up their security since then. Goblin Pad is a very good secondary measure, if they can't break that then your whole account is suspended (as far as I know, I think it just boots you from the game if you fail like 3-4 times), not to mention item locks are a last level of security that prevents removal or sale of your avatars and gear. I've met some really nice members from Cute Little Elins and Magica on the Valley of Titans NA server before. I'm not sure if either of them are associated with 4chan, but at the least, the members I met can type coherently, don't use emotes, and don't exhibit the same shitposting mannerisms as Touch Fluffy Tail or No Fun Allowed (the /a/ and /v/ guilds).

I still don't have a guild because I'm looking for a good fit. I already subbed for 6 months, and I intend to play for that time, so a nice guild would be cool. I used to play Eden Eternal too, but I ran out of stuff to do. Farming gold is a pain and healing is so easy you barely need any gear at all. I'm not interested in dpsing or tanking so I left.
