My life as a hikkikomori is in danger, /jp/.
No money for bills.
No one to help me.
No friends to let me stay with them.
I don't want to go to gensokyo yet, but I also do not want to leave my hikki room.
What do?

Heck, do you guys even get along on a personal level as opposed to a 'I like you because you have money level'? Rich people and family members have feelings too believe it or not. They know when they are just being used. Someone I went to school had parents swimming in money (new rich). However, they had been treated like shit by their siblings and even some of their own parents. So basically they had cut off ties with most of the family. What goes around comes around. fuck ... I live in Vancouver and rent minimum is like $650 in a roach motel, $850 on the outskirts of town and $900+ for actually usable near transit or actual stores (not that I ever leave)

That doesn't include internet, animu, fleshlights, utilties, dentist, insurance, food, etc.

Don't ever consider a motel as actually a place to live. They are a temporary place to stay for a few days or so.
Look at websites to rent locally.

Learn programming.

The job is perfect for anti-social people. Not to mention it should be relevant to your interests.

/jp/ is just filled with lazy fucks who wouldn't work even if it means not starving. As long as work is needed, they'll shrivel away saying it's "not suitable for them" and come up with a myriad of excuses.

...its not a literal motel...

Thats the price to rent a small apartment full of roaches.

Programming is different from working. The kind of autism they acquire from tinkering around with their computer and enjoying nihonese entertainment should ensure they can find fun in technology and be curious about programming. The joy when you first create a utility in C could compel you to find out more.

You never know until you try it out.

Contrary to popular opinion, "soft skills" are important if you work in the field. The introductory courses in a nearby school where you can learn to get a computer industry recognized certificate (some bullshit in Germany, it's called "Meister") are all about human communication, instead of doing something with computer.

Unless you want to work self-employed. But is that really enough to be self-sustaining?
