there are a few players, but no, not really, but /v/ hates theirs and /vg/'s lol playerbase for a reason ( they are all terrible at the game and are retarded,

I looked at a thread once, a tripfag posts, people copypaste shit and yell at the trip fag for the next 20 posts for no reason, they get pammed for 20% of the thread by people who don't like them,

if you want to talk about the game or builds or anything, you can, but respect all of 2 or 3 responses

I'm not sure how it really started becoming a bad joke to post it on /jp/

I play it with my older brother sometimes as a way to keep in touch, I find it fun since the DotA char set got boring and I find bushes to be fun
The lol chars end up being really fun, and I really like how they let casters scale well late game instead of becoming mostly fragile cc bots that don't deal as much damage as their team-mates do

but there are literally like 30% the items that DotA has

and the laning phase is pretty damn boring
I usually play read visual novels on my psp while I farm or doing w/e

People also trash lol since the average plaer is waaaay worse than other games since it tries to be nice and drops them in with player around their experience instead of the more effective but crueler method of throwing them into a pit of tigers

I was going to buy Ahri as my first champion, but then I read her story and looked at online people playing her. She was an impure slut and I didn't want to play her anymore.
Then I looked at Lux and her super kawaii portrait face, and bought her instead.
