I sort of want to backtrack the information and find major sources reporting it to figure out the information input channels of the magazine if they have any of that at all. The articles are mostly bad, amateurish and they never mention sources.
Though maybe I'm just too accustomed to academic publications.

Nvm, one of the comments gave a Sankaku link. Now I understand why I had that strikingly similar gut feeling when checking out the magazine's articles.
This is interesting and despairing at the same time in so many levels. Fuck, if I were the editor I'd fire everybody who uses Sankaku and copypaste translates content from there.
