Asian Americans most bullied in US schools

>Asian Americans endure far more bullying at US schools than members of other ethnic groups, with teenagers of the community three times as likely to face taunts on the Internet, new data shows.

I am black and I've found that most people in cities and in single-ethnicity neighborhoods tend to be the most 'racist', which is still not all that bad. I feel you just need to connect with certain people on a different level other than race. Older people seem to be the easiest to do this with. Let an older lady know you're just a good old boy and she'll warm up to you. Show an older man you're worthy of respect and he'll warm up to you. It's the kids who won't change the way their 'racist' views. Not really sure why. They're the ones eating up every little thing blacks release for the US music market. It's actually quite easy to just strong-arm them into not being 'racist' around you. Just give them a black staredown to make them feel uncomfortable. Other cases of 'racism' are simply people who are unfamilar or uncomfortable around other races. For instance, I went to a very white city last year, with a population of 1,700. Almost everywhere I went I felt like I was being watched. Sure, it was weird, but by the time I left I felt like I connected with some of the people who I saw often. It was a bit uncomfortable to eat at a certain unfranchized, local fast food restaurant (pretty rare, which is why I wanted to eat there) so I showed that I was just another guy by making a bit of small talk with the cashier so he knew I spoke plainly, and then ordered some cookies.

There aren't really that many people here nowadays who are truly racist. Just people with misunderstandings.

How does bullying even occur?

It never happened to me. I have trouble understanding how it even happens. I had no friends, but no one bullied me. I kept to myself, ate alone, did my work, went home, and that was it.

No bullying. I don't think anyone even talked to me more than once or twice and even then it was mostly just teachers.

I was always the small quite kid who cracked everybody up, I also bounced between social groups as I pleased. I guess none of the alpha guys saw me as a threat so I befriended them and actually had mildly successful high school years. Not that it matters though since I turned into a lazy demotivated piece of shit when I moved to another city and everyone was on a completely different page than what I was used to. Oh well I'm moving overseas soon, it's nice being a drifter sometimes.

One thing to keep in mind is that if bullies don't like you, they will try to start shit and bother you. You don't have to be doing anything. They'll find something to latch onto (your haircut, your clothes, height/weight/race) and will go from there.
