So I see quite a bit of posts saying shit about, "you never need to leave your house, the internet is a vast pool of knowledge, and you can get adventure out of lucid dreaming"
But how easy is lucid dreaming?
Isn't it random?

Depends, I guess. I never remember my dreams so I imagine it would be quite difficult to have them. Some people I know always remember their dreams though.

Hard

Comes naturally to me without having to do WILD or other methods. It's all a matter of realizing that the "reality" in your dream is your unguided imagination and once you do that, you can change it in any way you want, including making them a lot more vivid and real-seeming while you're aware that they are not.

I'm actually going to try something that if successful will likely greatly increase the ratio of my lucid dreams to regular dreams (I'm at a 10-20% of total dreams being lucid currently).

Random? No, dreams are random, lucid dreams are directed consciously with the subconscious mind filling in everything else. It's about as random as imagination can maximally be.
