How are you going to survive in Gensokyo after you will get there? You won't have gun or any other weapon at start and until you will get invited to tea party and sake group you will have at least one dangerous encounter. How are you going to find way to safety in human village?

I'd donate money for the Hakurei Shrine weekly, so Reimu would protect me for sure, which means that I'd be basically invincible. Or I would try to find Keine/Hina. When I got myself protected by someone, I'd start studying magic 24/7 until I turn myself into an youkai.

What I was talking about is that youkai do not pose any real threat anymore. Honesly I'll be in bigger danger if I'll met, say, wild bear. Or wolf. Or I can break my leg while making my way through forest.

It is only a theory. How do some random youkai recognize you as outsider? Most of the youkai you can meet in the wilderness are not really smart. Also akyuu_writes_bullshit and all that.

If you are talking about the fact that youkai eat humans then it is nowhere contradicted because all the humans in Gensokyo are strong enough to defend themself.
We have never seen a helpless outsider in any canon work.
I think it's very likely that a feral youkai will attack an outsider.
How do they know you are an outsider?
You dress differently, you move differently and you smell differently.
A Gensokyo human could probally sense a youkai and defeat it in a duel within a 20 mile radius.
It is also a canon fact that youkai cooks travel into the outside world to kidnap humans in order to deliver food to the peaceful youkai in gensokyo

Since it's a forest I'd assume there's a river nearby. I'd check the direction in which moss grows on stones and head in that direction, hoping to find a river. Once I found that river, I'd walk along it until I find a settlement.

I'd also be very, very carefull not to hurt any animals or plants because I know if I'm in yuuka's territory she'll kill me even faster if I did anything to the local flora.
