This game is awesome, it's scarier than Yume Nikki and, although is short, let's you develop some feelings for the characters. Hell, even these blue dolls seem charismatic to me now.
I will leave the link to the game if someone doesn't have it yet.

>scarier than Yume Nikki

But that's not really saying much, or misunderstanding the atmosphere of Yume Nikki. There isn't really much to be scared of in YN (except maybe getting eaten by the big red), but more of reveling in the melancholic spacious atmosphere.

Stuck on this room, anyone got the solution for this?

puss the table two times to the left, and if then that doesn't work, two times south.

The best part of YN was the music

Kind of agree. It had a righteous soundtrack, but, well, the ambience and animation were a close second. Particularly the latter; Kikiyama and his evident appreciation of Earthbound felt great in a game.

Ummm, leave the room and enter again, to return it to the normal position, and push it 3 times left, until a sound happens.

Besides this and .Flow, what other games are similar to Yume Nikki?

Yume 2kki, but that blows.
LSD Dream Emulator for the PS1 is cited as a 3D Yume Nikki, with a little less coherence.

I agree, the music is pretty good, but what I liked the most is the bizarre background and the strange images in the sewers. Everything abstract was delicious to me.

Wait, I am actually a 12 year old girl IRL and did not find it scary at all. Please explain.

Depends what you mean. I think we're all hardcore, jaded individuals enough to not be scared at computer games or movies any more. They can shock you or turn down the gamma on the screen, but that's about it. Yume Nikki was "scary" in the sense that the whole atmosphere was unsettling. You didn't know what would come next. There was a big fear of the unknown and all this different, crazy shit that made you feel like anything could happen in the next room.

If you need something more immediate, with a "sanity meter", heavy_breathing_and_heartbeat.wav loops, and jump scares, then Yume Nikki isn't the game for you. If you like exploring and strange, surreal imagery, then Yume Nikki does a fantastic job.

I just got the "Together, forever" ending.
So, from what I can understand Ib and Mary are siblings or something?

This game was kinda spooky at first, but lost most of it when Garry joined and had its final hurrah with the doll room. I had to fail it to get scared at it.

I didn't like how there's no self-sacrifice ending, and you can't have all three alive.

I assume Ib chooses to stay in the world? I haven't gotten that ending yet because I'm not sure how to get it. I'm guessing it's one of the "worst" endings?

That's one other thing that bugged me. What's up with "Naturally, she is not based on a real person"? That seemed strange given Ib's parents and the lady in red were already shown to us. Shitty writing or mistranslation? Somebody check the nihonese for me.
