That's kind of my point, they have visible depth, even if it's clever shader trickery.

I wrote a very rudimentary bump mapping "engine" a billion years ago but it only worked from certain angles and didn't use any of the actual GPU features. I later adapted it to be a heightmap/terrain generator. That was fun.

My computer is terrible. I played Daggerfall a LOT, and most of my time was spent basically roleplaying with myself.

I think someone should make a computer game where you just make a character and then there's this big open field with boxes in it and you can move the boxes around. Not like Minecraft, just something with box physics or something so you can stack them and pretend they're tables, or a shop counter and then be a shop clerk and pretend people are coming into your shop.

i don't know what kind of advice to offer in that case, but i'll try. if you'd like to become the little girl, and are serious about it you eventually have to tell people (well you usually grow tits on HRT anyway, can't hide that but it takes 1year +).

the best thing i think you could do, is just be honest about it. "mom & dad i'll always be your son but i feel like i am a girl and wish to become one" is about as up front you can get. they'll either shit themselves if they are religious or right wing or just ignorant, or they will accept it and support you. there really is no "sugar coating" such a topic since it's your identity as a human being you are dealing with. if you're shy about it, try a letter.
