Is anyone else obsessed with Okuu's hairstyle? Her hairstyle is something I've never seen anything like on any other character that I can think of. It's just so amazing to me. It's like the perfect mixture of awesome, cute, and sexy all rolled into one, just like Okuu herself. This is probably my favorite depiction of it.

Maybe a thermal bag? I'm not sure if that's the english way to call those bags of warm water, but you get the point.
Although it doesn't sound like a good idea, since it wouldn't last much and would risk getting the daki all wet.

Also ironing it gets it warm, but this also doesn't last long. Even less.
I can't think of other options that aren't just plain hugging it while completely covered by a lot of blankets.

Actually, I just get frustrated on how often people mix the hair and the wings in weird ways. In you pic, or this one here for example, the hair passing in front of the wings make it look like they are floating behind her instead of attached to her body.

Almost everyone draws it like that though. Also I think she can just flip her hair over her cape, so that its between her shirt and cape, but split down the middle where the cape and her wings come out. It depends on how wide her cape it I guess though at the neck.

I know, that's what I usually prefer to assume. I still can't help but notice this kind of detail every time. Even on very beautiful pics like this.
I'm a big amateur when it comes to drawing, but I guess it's not so hard to keep the hair behind the wings, come on. Or maybe people just like to show the hair or are lazy.

I'm pretty sure that's all there is to it. Her hair is too beautiful to not show in it's full glory. The pic you posted is another one of my favorites for her hair. Just the way it's slightly curly at the ends, curved outwards but not too messy, makes it so much more interesting to me than if it were perfectly straight and flat (which I find boring; see Kaguya. No offense Kaguya). It matches her character perfectly and gives her a lot of personality in my opinion.
