Does anyone regret the time they've invested into touhou?

Assuming you're not secondary-scum you can dodge bullets and have good spatial awareness in the context of the game--able to rapidly register the direction and speed of bullet curtains and get the fuck out the way

Now imagine you took all the time you spent on touhou and pushed it into something else.

Maybe post-graduation regret is the reason a lot of primaries don't stick around in /jp/ (hence the influx and constant supply of secondaries shitting on the floor.)

A lot of the people who get nice at touhou have social problems or plan poorly for their future. Whether they're kicked out of their house or find themselves unable to indulge in their neet hobbies they all dissapear for one reason or another.

I've seen people blot out their high scores and spell card histories out of what I assume is embarrassment.

I wish that my hard drive hadn't died. I really want my old scores and spell card histories back.

Just a solid testament to the hundreds of times I fought against Sanae and Koishi as my first EX stage.

That specific run? It was done a year ago, and I don't really remember. No more than a dozen, probably, and most of those were just devoted to coming up with a decent resource-maximizing UFO route. I've been playing Touhou for too long, and UFO is one of my favorite games, so pulling a no miss/bomb run of Extra out of my ass isn't much of a problem. Speaking of UFO Extra with MarisaA, I'm supposed to be aiming for ~640M on it some time this coming weekend. When it comes to scoring, the restart count can easily hop up an entire order of magnitude from a simple "perfect" run. Maybe I'll take it easy and only aim for 600M+. Score blogging. Who cares. I don't really like posting on /jp/ about the games anymore, because I'm self-conscious and worry about people perceiving me as egotistical, as well as because of some of the reasons outlined by >>8776370.
