The more I observe the common /jp/er, the more I see how most of you have such conservative views about morality. Such are your most basic standards, that I do not expect any living woman to match them. Ever.

You want a living saint, miss universe and the perfect mother all rolled into one.

However, these standards are not harsh on them, but on yourselves. Why do you submit yourselves to such a mentality?

If your mother was truly all 3 and truly second-to-none... then why are you here?

>> No.8733770

one of the most painfully embarrassing memories I have is the one where my mother tried to talk me into dating 'girls you might not be initially attracted too'. It wasn't hard to read between the lines there: you are too pathetic to ever get a good girl, so you should lower your standards.

I'd rather be alone and unhappy than force myself to accept that I can never do better than myself (and also be unhappy).

Because we perceive being alone as preferable to suffering the risk emotional trauma.

There's a lot of risk associated with finding a romantic partner. She could have an affair. She could be a manipulative harpy. She could die. Additionally, I think it's safe to say that most of us have had a poor history of interpersonal relationships. I know that I have.

Why are you so angry about being a whore? It was your decision, after all.

>> No.8733909

I think it's better to have your sights set on something that doesn't exist than constantly try and fail and become bitter about it. Just go look at /r9k/ and you will see what I mean.

>> No.8733944

Being alone is actually really nice for some people. For some of us it's a superior option than "settling" for someone we perceive as annoying. You're putting being alone into a context where it equates to being miserable, so you're obviously missing the point.
