One of my neighbors who used to be childhood friends with me left for Japan about a year ago. His Mom won 70,000 dollars in the lottery and since he was NEET and depressed (he attempted suicide several times) she gave him 60k to do whatever would make him happy. He was a huge weaboo. I remember he used to always say when we were younger he was going to sneak on a plane to Japan and live happily there away from his terrible life here (he was bullied alot too) well he took the money and left to Japan. I talk to his Mom every now and then, she says he is living in Tokyo in an expensive building and using the money to drink and party and do other expensive things living very lavishly. She said he'll probably run out soon and she's worried that he'll kill himself once he does because she said he told her he refuses to come back.
