22m polish student here.
I'll be visiting Japan this year, and gonna stay there for ~~3 months (90-day tourist visa).
I'll be accomodated in the forest in the mountains by the waterfall, somewhere around here:

I don't think , you will have enough money for 3 months
specially if you if you are a tourist and you want to see many things with traveling much.

anyway here a tip
Learn the train maps.
Don't buy single train ticket if you want to travel much
Don't even try to stay 1 day more then what your visa allows
If you want to eat inside restaurants, do it at morning , its cheaper and you don't have to pay for your seat.

Finally some helpful info :)

I'm not really a tourist. I'm travelling via wwoof organization and I have accomodation and food guaranteed. So these 125-150k yen will be only for 3-4 trips + some onsens + some meals in restaurants.

About maps: bought road atlas japan
About trains: not gonna use them. I'm buying japan bus pass - and that's how i will travel from tokyo to kagoshima
Already bought return ticket, so i won't stay more than 90 days
