I always feel this way when I see dogs.
But I wonder if the way a dog's mouth is normally is more to do with physical exertion than with any expression of emotion.
Why should their 'smile' correspond to a human smile, there's no reason for it to.
Perhaps they are just as unhappy as you or I.

I wonder how much it would be to buy a pig and bring it to a butcher. I wonder if the skin would be alright to make pork rinds with.

To be honest, I can't think of many dishes that I like to make with pork. Maybe some pork chops, scnitzel, tonkatsu, stuff like that. Some sausages, you know. Beyond that I'm not sure.

I'm sure I'd have enough bones to make a bunch of stocks. Maybe I could do ramen. I've always wanted to try making noodles by hand. I've always wanted to try pork belly too. It looks damn good.

If pigs weren't illegal to raise here I would probably raise them. They seem to be half way between a cow and chickens in terms of care.

You can't tell me this doesn't look good.

I haven't checked but I've always wanted to buy just pig skin to make crackling. It's kind of health issues that put me off though.
Superficially I look thin and healthy enough, but I feel like I'm dying a slow death from my diet.

You aren't planning on doing anything with your life are you? If not, I don't see any reason to not eat whatever you want even if it's not healthy. That's mostly why I live off of sweets and and fried foods. Might as well enjoy the last few hundred or thousand meals in my life before I die.

The only things I will not touch are those weird "healthy" substitutes that I feel are worse for you than the actual thing. Margarine, sweetener and salt substitutes, that kind of thing.
