It's a long story. But right now, wikia doesn't allow downloads of doujins, for copyright bullshit reasons, so touhouwiki is obviously superior.

There is just a bunch of stupid internet drama behind it because touhouwiki branched off of wikia, and then those elitists were mad so they want to shit on wikia whenever they get the chance so it could die, or something like that. The site designs are different, use whichever is more comfortable for you. The only reason you should be visiting those wikis in the first place is to read official content. Character/event analyses have the same amount of spin and bias on both sites.
