Maybe she smells bad, maybe she doesn't. Maybe she has magic to avoid smelling, maybe she doesn't. If she can't avoid it, all those tails and all that fur would become quite troublesome, but the average person in gensokyo probably wouldn't mind, since they seldom take baths themselves.

I think she would smell motherly. I can't explain it, but older women have such a hypnotizing scent. Maybe it's just natural pheromones rather than perfume though.
Younger girls in their early 20's or late teens usually don't have a smell, or just have a strange cheap smell. I've been in a crowded bus while next to a woman in her mid 30's, and the scent was euphoric.
