hope you don't mind if I offer some criticism? (though i'm still pretty mediocre at this game myself) if you don't want any, then don't bother to look at the following text.

as a whole, it seems like you need to work on blocking, especially in the air. if you had saved any of those matches as replays, you can go back and see all the times (especially near the end) where I would catch you in the air with meaty air normals after you teched. also remember that miyako has some pretty dangerous overheads, so be prepared to block high on wakeup/or DP me.
you had some pretty good ideas, like throwing out that 4C(i think?) in between my sloppy blockstrings, and using a few anti-airs.

I appreciate the suggestions. I recognize that I do badly after techs, but unfortunately that's hard to work on in practice mode. Is Miyako's BE5C, or whichever BE you use, unblockable on wakeup? I gave up blocking a lot in the sake of experimentation, trying to find another option because it seemed like I'd eat it even blocking high. Unfortunately, I don't have a proper DP. I'll look forward to our next matches.

i've never played BB but i've played guilty gear and it's kinda like guilty gear, but they are definitely their own games with their own mechanics. i only started playing a couple weeks ago and it's pretty fun but the "average" skill level for mb is pretty high so it's kinda hard to break in. i'm still struggling. it's more fun for me because i'm familiar with the VNs.

i was actually trying to bait a reversal and block a few times there but it failed almost every single time.

anyway, my overall play is terrible, so i can't really focus on one aspect. for instance trying to jump in with 2c against a superior aa character is dumb, i should always use 2b instead. but for some reason i keep wanting to land the 2c. i just need to practice more and get more comfortable with the controls.

i don't know. i think at the time i would have rather fought against miyako, because in neutral i don't have a good answer yet to your j5c or whatever that move is. but miyako is frustrating too because your pokes turn into huge combos. i don't really have any preference, i just need to keep playing to get better.

i actually would have kept playing but hunger felt like it was literally gnawing a hole in my stomach so i had to cut loose.

It's funny. My pressure game with Len is better than Ciel. As you saw, can only confirm half the time though. You probably should've been punishing my turtling more though. Don't forget to hold back a 5A/2A on strings so you can quickly whiff cancel and get back in. Those can also be shielded to prevent Hiero shenanigans like I caught you with a lot.
