It was originally a "friendlier" TLwiki combined with Erogedownload, then it turned into a "friendlier" TLwiki combined with (some of) vndb. There's no market for it, really. I guess it's supposed to be "easier" but now that downloads are gone people are still going to have google for themselves, and sites like vndb aren't difficult to navigate to begin with.
