Suppose it'd depend on what kind of orb counterhit you managed:

If they get counterhit by it in the air, they won't be able to recover until they hit the ground, giving you plenty of time to react and 2c > 3c > bnb them for good damage.

If it's a ground counterhit, you still have some time to dash 2aa if anything.
You always want to capatalize off of such good chances.

I'm not sure why I switched to Ryougi, I have no idea how to handle pressure with that character.

Overall you're doing reversals on wakeup way too often, especially with Kouma. Dunk in the middle of your opponent's blockstring is really, really good and makes him hesitate to pressure more, so you should be keeping your meter for those reversals (and tick dunks eventually, if you can manage to pin your opponent down).

You seem to be having trouble blocking high too, and not just overheads, you were constantly getting hit (and counterhit) by my Nanaya's jC as you were hitting buttons on the ground.

I find execution difficult especially in real matches. I'm not sure if I'd do better not on a keyboard with so little experience with other controllers. You should try out some controllers and see if you prefer using them. Despite what people say, there is no ``bad'' controller as long as you're comfortable with it. Personally, I play on keyboard due to its high accuracy input and ease for multi-hour gaming sessions.

Yeah they seemed cool but I don't know why you continued to hide behind them and try shielding 236[B]. I thought that was half of why I was holding up each match. I can hardly do the 623/421 input on a keyboard it just have to spam the buttons in order for it to come out instead of 236/214 so I can't do them when they're needed in combos. I also can't really work overheads into my blockstrings as well as I should.
I don't know how I'd go about trying controllers without buying more than I'd probably want. I might end up not liking anything more than keyboard too.

Timing was pretty good on your part, one or two more and I would have stopped too.
While I slowly get used to some of your moves I still fuck up the most obvious things.

It's hard being a Kouma player when your opponent has great run away spam and safe pokes into high damaging combos. Reminds me of why I stopped playing SSF4 and MVC3. I really like this game and I love a good fight, but it feels so one sided when playing against a good player thats using one of the higher tiers. GGS everyone, guess I'll go practice with one of the better characters now.
