I actually started watching haganai today.
From what I heard I expected everything that's wrong with modern anime rolled into one convenient package.
It's... not that bad.
The two main girls are kind of unattractive, though.

At least not yet. It's occasionally funny and it doesn't make me mad, anxious or frustrated, so it's already better than most things I try to watch these days.
The only thing that really bothers me is the fact that while Shaft had what it takes to translate Buriki's character designs to anime, AIC... doesn't. To put it kindly.
