Well, I read some of it, because I'm willing to give stuff a chance. It's not necessarily terrible, but his inexperience really shows. He has a tendency to overuse some words, and the lack of variety, even in his descriptions, can make the read fairly boring.

Characterization through dialogue was weak as hell. Few attempts made at creating a vivid voice for the characters, and he has some trouble properly setting an underlying or implied mood in certain situations.

However, compared to the rest of the things to come out of the western fanbase, I can understand why you'd say it's the best thing to come from us. The effort does show through, and you can tell he has a genuine interest in the characters. But it's really the case of "the best of the worst".
