graduated high school in june, and as since got 2 jobs and couldn't do both of them. fedex was retarded and dunkin donuts fucked me over with hours so I didn't bother fighting that.

I am under somewhat similar circumstances. Graduated in June but went on to university. Engineering. After an exceptionally mediocre finish to the semester I'm now questioning whether or not seeing the degree through to completion is even worth the troubles. Engineers, as any other post grad demographic, are effected by ubiquitous shitrocker that is the "bad economy". I haven't as of yet or even in the future see myself securing any connections or jobs and I'm fairly certain I'd perform poorly in the interview process anyways. I also really have no interest in conventional work I'd be seeing from typical salaried engineer duties. At this point I'm seriously considering the military, but I don't know if I could tolerate having to be around others as much as I'd be expected to. Another option would be going through with the degree and entering the forces as an officer, which initially amounts to little more than a larger paycheck but holds the potential for comparatively significant career advancement.

tldr; I'm still directionless as fuck and don't see that changing anytime in the future. A part of me wants to be more definitive in my approach to the future while on the hand I don't want to think about such things at all.

Also for you fellow closet normals currently attending uni - seriously look into your school's disability services. I went ahead and got an ADD diagnosis and now receive academic compensation in the form of extended time on lab reports and +75% test time, which is immensely fucking helpful as any of you dealing with math courses would probably know. I didn't pursue it but note takers and attendance exceptions were offered resources. Being "disabled" in my school pretty much translates to an easymodo academic career, so milk your disabilities to fullest extent if lucrative.

My life is getting pretty loser-ish since 2011 (College finished, no "real" job) but I am enjoying myself a lot more and I stopped only f5ing /jp/ all day and I can, somehow, say that it was an interesting year. I was able to get a wider range of interests and I learned a lot of things. I think something is going terribly wrong with me though (I keep forgetting everything and/or how to do simple, mudane things, I always feel weak, confused and much more - the list only gets longer each days) but regardless of that I think it was a good year.

It's been great. Got two more onaholes, a new camera, more lenses, more figures, a controller for emulators, a doll, and a fridge in my room. I've also been learning a lot more about food and cooking. I baked my first loaves of bread in an oven this year and I feel like I'm getting better at doing other things that have to do with cooking. Infact, I just finished frosting a cake I made. The cake was from a box but the frosting was made by me. Let's see, what else... I took a trip by myself, saw more sunrises, got on a sleeping schedule that I like (sleep at 8-9AM, wake up around 7PM), and that's about it. No change in prospects but that doesn't bother me. Life is nice when you can live it at your own pace on your own terms.

2011 was an awesome year.
