What if Gensokyo is Reimus dream and all the other people in it are parts of her subconscious?

She was having Yume-Nikki esque dreams about Gensokyo while trapped in a wheelchair.

Some long story had her body slowly deteriorating like a corpse, and that's the premise for her illusions and self-imposed isolation. But I don't remember if that was the "canon".

Gensokyo was created somewhere in some universe/dimension simply by us wishing it to exist. All the games/doujins/music/fan content/fantasies we've had over the years made it so.

There may actually we a way to get there, if you believe in it.
