I really don't believe someone traveled through all of these counties.

And if they did, they would likely just gauge a place on being cool or not based on something that stood out to them like "oh we stopped at a decent restaurant here, this place is rad." However if they just kept driving down the highway and blew by a place they wouldn't give a fuck.
