These are how they're normally conveyed using the English language, idiot. It's not a matter of whether they're in the god damn English dictionary or not. They're of the English alphabet, and are perfectly sensible phonetic that any non-illiterate person can make sense of. And people who has decent experience with anime, manga, VN, etc usually know of them and see them as something natural.

Don't be upset just because English doesn't have a lot of variations when it comes to laughter. I get sick and tired of seeing hahaha or hehehe fucking every where, especially when some TLs stupidly translate fufufu, huhuhu, kukuku, and so on as hahaha or heheheh.

Why do you assume it has to be the phonetics of American or British English? The sounds made are supposed to be how Japanese pronounce them. Translating to fufufu or huhuhu are for the purpose of making them into symbols in which we assign the phonetics that Japanese use. But even if you don't do that or if you weren't knowledgeable/aware of Japanese SFX in general, the fufufu or huhuhu would still be phonetically sensible, but the sounds made won't be how Japanese pronounces them, but either American or British English phonetics.
