Rate yourself from 1 to 10, be as objective as you can, if you have balls you could post a pic.

Nothing more, looking forward for the answers, I'm going to Japan and taste japanese girls so this kinf of information helps.

1) Using sage is not an insult, and does not indicate care.
2) the b in gb2 means "to" since gb2 means "Go back to"
3) Reported for off-topic.

Apply for a scholarship at your local university.
There's also the possibility to get a scholarship in Japan or pay for it yourself.

>>8139122
There are a lot of English classes to chose from, for this semester I'm stuck with those. If my Japanese improves enough, I might take classes in Japanese next semester.

There are also classes in German, French and Spanish, but those are literature classes (=not related to my field + boring)

I don't watch too much animu either and it depends on the person. Some guys will ask you what anime you know and be baffled if you only know Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball and Pokemon, most people don't really care.

However, I was at a maid café and talked about it to my fellow Japanese students, some were looking at me in disbelief and have themselves never been to one (apparently it's for losers who can't find "normal" women).

>>8139133
I'm a master student, so I'm done with learning programming languages. Right now, we're using Java for a course called "Verification of Computing Systems", Python came up, too.

Sort of jelly. Although in my field studying at a Japanese university, or even going there for a semester, is completely impossible unless you have full control over the Japanese language.
Which is sort of weird, since almost all advanced courses at my uni are hold in (the foreign language) English.

How did you manage to fit it into your Master program?

Because mostly I don't care about how long it will take me to finish my studies mostly and I "just" have to write my master's thesis and take about 5 courses still, which I can do anywhere in the world really.

>> No.8139216

My uni has an exchange program with Keio (and the Osaka Institute of Technology, but that's obviously a second choice here), but I don't see any course available in English that would even remotely fit anything in my examination regulations. Meh.

>> No.8139240

>>8139216
I take a remote lecture from Keio (the professor is giving his class at Keio University, while we at Todai have video screens with his lecture). The classes in English at Tokyo University vary every year. I had to fill out a course request list last year, just to find out that about half the courses aren't available anymore.

My university in Austria had 2 spots for the Tokyo University and it seems like I was the best applicant because I studied Japanese.

Mine is that cheap. Cheapest there is, small like a bento box. There are more expensive ones, naturally.
