It was pretty cool.

The quality per episode ratio wasn't that great kinda. The good episodes really were actually good though. Episodes 4 through 8 just felt like a waste. Coincidentally those were also the Sayaka and her boyfriend episodes, so I really agree with Anon saying she sucks. Episode 10 was the coolest but I didn't like how Madoka killed Mami. I sorta felt the whole point of the series was to show that Madoka wouldn't harm a fly, so that whole scene just felt randumb to me.

As for the ending the whole "I will become god/beyond human and exist everywhere while you other nerds just keep on fighting" ending reminded me of a few of my other favorite animes, like say Simoun. So I was pretty OK with the ending. Homu really was the best and coolest character though, followed by Kyouko. Meduka just cried a lot, but at least she was moe. Mami is really only good for her mammies though, and Sayaka a shit.

All in all fun stuff. Would rate 8/10 on /jp/'s Universal Media Scale (which is a really good score as HELL). Will play upcoming PSP game too.
