Fantastic, I thought I wouldn't be seeing this again for the whole week, but here it is again. Ready to shit all over what I have left of good thoughts about Gensokyo. Bloody mangled touhous are all that I can see now.

Why do I even watch these.

Is this the Sanae flashback?
...yup, it's the Sanae flashback.

I couldn't finish it. I didn't even last a minute; I know what happens.
Nothing this guy does is going to be able to top this. Nothing. This, right here, is the most heart-breakingly depressing thing in Touhou fandom.

This one happens to be more effective than others, probably because of the simplistic depictions make the feelings easier to convey, and it rubs people the wrong way. Especially the ones that are easily effective or the ones that have it get under their nerves, some people just don't want to see these kinds of things. At least the waning serves an actual purpose.

>> No.8060129

>>8060121
No, it doesn't. You can't take every opinionated statement as a statement of fact just because the guy doesn't have "in my opinion" in front of it.

I like the art, the story is a bit cliche-ish but the music makes it better. The Susumu Hirasawa part made me keep on going and just started thinking the whole series was just one big artsy music video.

Maybe that will help some people.

>> No.8060165

No, I'm not him.
Doesn't look that way to me. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't, but either way, my point still stands that you don't need to point out every opinion you see, unless someone is treating their opinion as fact to support their argument or something.

>> No.8060170

>>8060157
Stop it. Close the tab or window you've got it in right now. Don't think about it, just do it. Close it, immedietly distract yourself with some porn or something, then never look at this again.
If you're feeling iffy on episode 2, you absolutely should not be watching this. It goes south fast.

>> No.8060168

It really isn't the blood and guts that gets me, it isn't the torture, or anything else like that. What gets me the most is that there's a person out there that took the time to draw, arrange, make a story, and combine all of the other elements together to make this. There just something about someone that takes this much time and effort to make a snuff story about a niche video game character setting for what is most likely their own entertainment purposes that really gets me down and kills what ever feelings I have left towards humanity in general. I know the more diehard out there are just going to tell me to fuck off, but come on, if we don't have humanity what it is that we have left? Not like it makes a difference what I say about it anyway.

>> No.8060173

First parts are really just a warm-up, Koishi isn't even the main focus but more of a reoccurring theme in the over all story.

You're the one that says that, stating it doesn't make it true.

He was making a broad statement without any apparent reciprocity, perhaps too broad, so I pointed out to him and you go berserk thinking it's some sort of personality trend.

>> No.8060209

>>8060179
Oh, you're the same guy? Didn't realize.

I'm not going berserk. I'm a little annoyed, but not furious or anything.

He's right.

I'm tired of the "that's just your opinion" statements from the league of stating the obvious.

Especially when it leads to nonsensical statements like "I don't like it, in my opinion."

Just watched chapter 7.

Bunch of alarmists, it wasn't that bad... got me teary-eyed at some parts, though.

And it's hard to make me feel even slightly moved, so I'll give this series a bit of credit. And I'm glad, as the Gensokyo within my heart remains untouched.

So I think I'll wait for more to be translated so I can reach maximum mind-fucking.
