Consider this:

Instead of doing nothing all day or browsing /jp/, why don't you pick up a hobby for a while or work on making money so you can do nothing all day or browse /jp/ later but with something gained? In other words, stop slacking.

Literally my erection is destroying my pants, I can't even play the piano with such vigour!!

I make money working online while browsing /jp/.

>> No.8043649

Because work is not enjoyable due to the simple fact that you get paid to do it.

Several studies have shown that once people are rewarded for a task they stop enjoying the task itself.

That's not a good excuse, you have enough time to reply, quit slacking.

Masturbation is the solution here. I would help but I don't live near you probably~

Good, do you have a job you enjoy as well?
>>8043649
True but at least the money gained will help you to be a lazy bum in the future. Even a lazy bum needs money to maintain their lifestyle. Even if your parents have it covered, you might want to develop your own source of income.

Well it's just for you to have something else you enjoy besides /jp/, if you still enjoy /jp/ that is.

Have you tried collecting things? How about putting together figures? Painting? Hell collect some dakemakuras and mod them or something.

I just want you to be happier, anon. If you're already happy as you are then disregard everything.

I just play games and walk around. It's okay I guess. Kind of wish I could do something else though, I spent many years trying to get good at a couple of things only to still be worse than everyone else so I quit. It's more relaxing.

Why does /jp/ act hopeless? It's really easy to improve if you set your mind to it.

Meh... I'm filthy rich beyond your wildest imaginations...

OK, maybe not Bill Gates or Steve Jobs... I can be categorized as a "Poor Millionaire" Yes I have US$4,000,000 at my disposal but I still have to work hard to manage every investment I made on a day to day basis...

I calculated that in order to be considered truly "Filthy Rich" where all you do is relax and take it easy day and night for the rest of your life... you'll need at least US$20,000.000 and above...

Well I've been studying Japanese to be more able to enjoy my hobbies like many folks around here, but right now my head hurts, it's fucking screaming and I have no idea why. I think I'm getting a fever.

In any case, I really hate doing things that don't bear fruit, I flip around and try new things all the time but when you don't see any progress after awhile you get discouraged and stop giving a fuck.

I honestly feel pretty useless, but the way I see it most people are useless yet they overestimate their worth, and their standards are all fucked up, far, far too low. It kind of annoys me.

I work in the oilfields for 6 months every 3 years.

The key is to not buy hookers/blow/beer during your time off.

But I'm not sure if you guys can pull it off because it requires a little socialization and tremendous mental vigor to go through that shit.

b) you won't wimp out on the job
c) you're doing it for the money, because that's the best motivator for normals like me

I don't know. I am pretty okay with playing games 8 hours a day, working 8, and sleeping 8.
I come home and when I sit on my computer my cat jumps on my legs and sleeps there.
