Shinki is lying in his bed, trying to ignore the fact that he's skipped school for the past week and had recently been living the life of a hikikimori

In a sudden flash of light hes transported 150 years in the future where he meets a robotic interface. She explains to Shinki that a month from the day he dissapeared a 5,000 megaton nuclear explosion occurs in his city. Humanity is on the verge of extinction, as the whole of the planet is still contaminated with nuclear fallout, while the resources of the few remaining humans who live beneath the surface have run out. Their last hope was to build a time machine and somehow stop the event from occuring in the first place.

The robotic interface further explains that he was chosen, to investigate and figure out the cause of the explosion. He was choosen because he was the most insignificant person in the city, and as such, anything he could do to cause changes in the future would be minimal.

"I Sing the Body Electric," Is a VN being developed by myself, it is played over the period of a month at a day by day basis. You will have full control over what you do each day and when you do it. You will most likely have to play through the month several times before you are able to figure out what the cause of the explosion is. And after that you will also have to stop the explosion from happening.

There are over 16 characters in the game besides Shinki. Each with their own schedules and personality. The things they do over the frame of the month you play will not change unless you make them change. In a way you can see this as a "Majoras Mask" of VN's

I don't want to reveal too much, but this game also has a twist of magical realism in it. I already have most of the main character designs drafted and almost half of the scripting done for the game. I will post a couple of rought character images and profiles following this post.

Aina is your little sister, born aproximately two years after your parents divorced. She is a bit of a klutz, but makes up for it with a kind demeanor and a strong sense of morality.

(This character still needs hair shading, touch up work, final HQ proofing work. I'm not a artist, I'm a writer, these will probably see a lot of work from a proper art director before the game is released.)

UPOH is a robotic interface you meet in the future. Very little is known about her, but her serious demeanor and no-nonsense attitude makes it hard for you to learn anything of use about her.

(This character has yet to be shaded, not to even mention the other post vector work that must be done to it)

Well actually....

Eventually, you will discover that one of the girls is responsible for the explosion. It could take you a lot of runs to figure this out, as unlocking each girls story takes at least 2 runs through the 30 day time period and there are at least 6 major female characters, not counting side characters.

You set out a schedule of what you want to do for that day, or decide after you visit each place. Game play will not be limited, it will take maybe 10-30 minutes to play through the day. After you finish with that day you just go on to the next one and such...
