The only people that I've met in real life who have 'otaku hobbies' are people that have seen maybe 15 anime and their favourite series are Death Note, Berserk, Haruhi and other shit. The 'otaku games' that they play consist of stuff like Persona. And I most certaintly would not want to be friends with them, mostly because of >>7913049

Yeah, that too. Also, I guess I'm satisfied enough by enjoying everything by myself. When around other people, I usually discuss things totally unrelated to /jp/ such as politics, news or daily matters for instance. After a lifetime of searching, I have met a couple people that I actually have shit in common with and are tru bros 4 lyfe.

We're all pretty odd and not the most socially fortified individuals but none of that matters since we each have a tacit understanding of what that entails and are able to take what we like and leave the rest. We've all had our share of shitty friends and backstabbling assholes.

One of them gave me the Dengeki Daioh Toaru Kagaku no Railgun Special with Shirai Kuroko Nii-Ten-Go and Mikoto Misaka Hugging Pillow Cover last night.
