Is it wrong that I think Metal Gear Solid 2 is a game that requires nil skills on the same level as Halo of Honor: Black Ops of War, that any idiot can point a gun to some dude from the cozy comfort of a dark spot, whereas danmaku shooters are the most sublime epitome of videogame skill?

No, really, I seriously believe there is no genre that is even remotely on the same tier as danmaku shooters. Not even racing games come close, even though I've long held them as the ultimate pinnacle of skill. Not even deep, intellectual resource management games. Danmaku shooters are the most perfect genre ever, period.

I'm asking this because it has recently hit me that the best way to become friends again with my brother, who I usually hate, is by playing Metal Gear Solid 2, but I feel so fucking dirty for stooping down to playing these guido games I think I'll have to balance every hour I play of MGS2 with another hour of Touhou.
