Decided to try learning Japanese by simply spending my free time translating Japanese text. My only real issue is that people apparently end verbs with whatever the fuck they want. Is there some secret to verbs I'm not getting, as I don't think I've encountered a single verb that is congregated in the way the verb tables say they should be.

ALso, why the fuck not. Japanese learners general. For those taking the next step towards being weaboo faggots.

The secret is called being a filthy gaijin.
Japanese is not only a highly contextual language, but also has a variety of idiosyncrasies that accompany different levels of formality. In many cases, the "whatever they fuck they want" is just that - endings to verbs that are placed arbitrarily because it may sound cool, or be easier to say, especially between speakers being informal with each other. We call them colloquialisms. They're not something you learn by studying books or taking classes.
